I’m so excited to share this exclusive first look at my November bullet journal pages with you! Reminder: As a subscriber, you get early access to my spreads before anyone else, giving you a head start to incorporate some of these ideas into your own journal. This month, we’re focusing on gratitude, holiday health, and the practice of gathering around the table. I hope these spreads inspire you to make the most of this thanksgiving season.
As always, I’ve kept the designs low-skill and approachable—perfect for those of us who love a little creativity without the pressure. With just a bit of washi tape, stickers, and magazine clippings, we can create pages that help us stay focused and intentional as we embrace November.

Holiday Health Plan
Can we just agree that the peanut butter blossom cookies with the Hershey Kisses are a holiday vibe all by themselves?
Every year I make a batch, along with a variety of other fun and festive treats. But also…
…every year I dream of reaching January feeling glowy and light vs. puffy and heavy. To accomplish this, I need a plan, so this year, I’m dedicating a page in my journal to goals and habits that prioritize wellness during the holiday season. My Holiday Health Plan includes spaces for specific goals, all with the overarching intention to end the year feeling light and strong.
I’ve broken the plan into four columns to outline different areas of focus—I haven’t decided what they’ll be yet, but I tend to gravitate toward nutrition, exercise, hydration, and the outdoors—and added a central box to highlight my main goal. It’s definitely not about perfection; it’s about setting a mindful intention to take care of myself as the year comes to a close.
Make the health plan idea your own:
Option 1 - Full Spread: Create a two-page spread to map out your health intentions for November. Include columns for different focus areas like movement, meals, and rest, and add photos from a wellness or cooking magazine to keep you inspired.
Option 2 - Mini Focus: Dedicate a half-page in your journal to write down just a few simple health goals. Add a small box to track your progress and reflect on how you’re feeling throughout the month.
Option 3 - Daily Health Tracker: Incorporate a small habit tracker into your weekly spreads, with spaces to check off simple actions like drinking water, taking a walk, or getting enough sleep.
Gathering at the Table
November wouldn’t be complete without some focus on food and gathering with loved ones. I’ve created an “At the Table” section to capture my intention for family meals this month. On the left, I’ve lettered the words “gathered at the table” to set the tone for these moments. The rest of the page is reserved for fall menu ideas, from cozy soups to festive side dishes.
I don’t know about you, but it’s easy for me and my husband to grab meals separately and go throughout the day. This space is my reminder to slow down and savor meals together with him and others I care about. There’s something grounding about sharing a meal together, and I want to bring that sense of community into my November routine.
Make a gathering intention of your own:
Option 1 - Recipe Planner: Use this spread as a meal planner. Write down your favorite fall recipes or new dishes you’d like to try, adding collage from cooking magazines, little doodles, and/or stickers for decoration.
Option 2 - Thanksgiving food list: Keep it simple by jotting down your Thanksgiving menu or favorite meals this month. Add a box to reflect on your favorite moments spent around the table.
Option 3 - Weekly Meal Box: Include a small box in your weekly spreads to note down special meals or gatherings you have planned. Use it as a mini gratitude space to capture your feelings about these moments.
Gratitude and a No-Complaining Challenge
This month, I’ve created a Gratitude Spread to record the little moments I want to remember and savor. On the left side, there’s a space for daily notes of gratitude. I’ll probably include ideas for my November “play”list there, too. (This list is always a photo challenge/activity list I create each month.)
Right beside it, I’ve added a No Complaining Challenge. It’s a daily habit tracker with one square for each day of the month. In between the squares, I’ve penciled in a reminder that says, “There’s no room for complaining when your heart is full.” This is a simple way for me to stay mindful of my words and focus on what truly matters as the year draws to a close.
Make this challenge your own:
Option 1 - Gratitude Spread: Dedicate an entire spread to jot down a moment of gratitude for each day of November. Use stickers, doodles, or magazine clippings to create a cozy, reflective atmosphere.
Option 2 - Mini Gratitude Box: If you’re short on time, add a small gratitude box to the corner of your weekly spreads to note down one thing you’re thankful for each week. I actually have a box like this every week of the year.
Option 3 - No Complaining Tracker: Join me on this challenge and create a simple habit tracker for your no-complaining challenge. Whether it’s a full-page spread or a small grid in your weekly layout, keep it as a reminder to fill your heart with gratitude.

I hope these spreads inspire you to focus on what truly matters this month—whether it’s taking care of your health, gathering at the table, or filling your heart with gratitude. Bullet journaling is such a wonderful way to capture these intentions and create space for them in your life.
