June is one of my favorite months to journal about, even though—ironically—I don’t always journal in it that much.
Here in the Mountain West, summer comes in with a big blue sky and long, golden evenings that feel too magical to spend indoors. That feeling—that light, that looseness, that nostalgia—is exactly what I tried to capture in this month’s June journal spreads.

Inside this month’s layout:
A warm, outdoorsy cover spread with one of my favorite recurring elements: a hand-drawn mountain graphic I’ve used every June for five years.
A weekly layout built for simple, doable notes—because I know from experience that I journal less during the summer.
A new feature spread dedicated to end-of-month reflections, where I plan to write about what I noticed, enjoyed, and want to remember.
Everything is layered with muted western colors, collage cutouts from my summer image stash, and washi tape that honestly just makes me happy.
Coming next: 5 things I’m letting go of in this season (part of my new end-of-month reflection practice).
Cheers!
Steph
